Ringing in The New Year at Mondo!
No plans for New Years? No problem! Join us for an early family dinner with the kids, friends & family for dinner, or ring in the New Year with our “after 9” ½ price wine specials! We will be offering a select list of white, red & rose wines by the bottle that will be ½ off!
On New Year’s Eve, our entire new menu will be available – so no worries – your favorites will be served! Stuffed Mushrooms, Fried Calamari, Garlic Bread Fondue and yes…our Meatballs – to get you started! On the lighter side – our Mondo House Salad, traditional Caesar and our new Spinach Salad with honey-walnut dressing are great choices! Our award-winning specialty pizzas – or if you’d rather – build your own pizzas– are always available as well! Recently, we add a gluten-free crust option – that can be substituted on any pizza as well! And, now we offer a gluten-free pasta option (changes) that can be utilized as well. Northern Italian favorites have come back on our Winter menu like Chicken or Veal Marsala, Parmigiano or Piccata. Our Rigatoni Bolognese is a sure fit for a hearty appetite! We’ve also added a Crème Brulee which is a family favorite, our fabulous Tiramisu and some new Gelato flavors – Chocolate, Vanilla & Mocha Chip as well!
We joined a great event at the last minute a few weeks ago – the Atlanta Pizza Wars! It was a great pet-friendly event at Wills Park Equestrian Center and a fundraiser for FurKids – a local organization that helps pets. Our pizza Fico-Emilia won 2nd place in the Best Specialty Pizza Category in the Atlanta Pizza Wars competition! Stop by Mondo this week – and experience first-hand the unique pie that won – ricotta, fig puree, granny smith apples, prosciutto, sautéed red onions and our special mix of cheeses.
In addition, we also recently won Best Pizza in the “Best of Appen” Reader Poll – so thank you to all of you who voted! We truly are proud of our accomplishments and are so happy to be part of this great community! We LOVE our neighbors in the surrounding neighborhoods – Crooked Creek, Lake Laurel and our special friends at RISPA Performing Arts School, Kings Ridge, Cambridge High School, Cogburn Woods Elementary School who have all become partners & friends.
Our staff at Mondo Pizza Kitchen is a great team of family & friends who are happy to serve you with welcoming, smiling faces and happy to assist you with your dining experience. From a simple recommendation on an appetizer and glass of wine to a full blown dining experience (on or off site) – our team is local – we all live in the area and are proud to be immersed in the community!
