Summer Special Menu at Mondo!

Summer Special Menu & Our $25 Special Wine Program! 
We hope you’ve had a fantastic Summer with lots of Family Time!  We certainly have & have been very busy with things at Mondo!

Last month, we introduced a Summer Special Menu – with great, light choices that flirt with the flavors of Summer!  Instead of nightly specials, we rolled out an entire Summer Special Menu – and we’ve received wildly positive feedback!

Please stop by to sample some of our new creations! Some of  our favorites include the Watermelon Caprese salad – with fresh watermelon & Burrata cheese with homemade mint EVOO & smoked sea salt over Arugula.

And our homemade Spinach & Artichoke Wontons with homemade pesto & marinara are amazing!  Other highlights include the Tomato Basil Capellini & our Rigatoni BLT with homemade Alfredo sauce & a Special Ravioli that Chef creates each week!

We also added to our award-winning specialty pizzas – The Mondo – with homemade Meatballs & crushed red pepper with mozzarella & ricotta & the Genovese with a pesto base, carmelized onions & asiago cheese!   Of course, build your own pizzas– are always available as well!  Our gluten-free crust option – can be substituted on any pizza!

We also recently introduced our $25 wine program – featuring bottles of Red, White & sometimes Rose – carefully selected to provide unique, great tasting options at a great value – that’s easy on the palate & on the pocketbook! Our Beverage Menu is filled with GREAT prices on familiar wines & some new Italians as well!  Our local, craft beer list has some newcomers and we can’t wait for you to try them – Creature Comforts Tropicalia, Victory Golden Monkey & Three Taverns A Night on Ponce IPA!  Specialty Summer Cocktails include the Citron Margarita, Suburbia, Southern G & T and Rosy Cheeks– enjoy refreshing, light, creative spins on your favorites!

A reminder that Mondo is the perfect place for groups (private room), parties (hurry we are booking fast) and school, team and family gatherings.  We will even open up on a Saturday afternoon if your group of 25 or larger wants to come in & eat and drink with us!  We’ll cater your office party, tennis gathering or host you here!  Just give us a call or shoot us an email at guest@mondopizzakitchen.com and we’ll send you our catering menu with all your favorites “party-sized” for your group.

We wish our staff at Mondo Italian Kitchen a great year- as many of you know – some are off & back to college this time of year! We will miss you!
